Build & Materials

Stainless Alaskan 360

The standard Alaskan 360 pairs a 17-4 stainless baffle stack and tube with a titanium Rugged Universal Mount (R.U.M.) for excellent heat tolerance and long service life. The stainless construction easily absorbs aggressive firing schedules while the high-temp Cerakote finish adds corrosion resistance and easy cleaning. For users expecting heavy usage across multiple platforms, the sheer durability of the Alaskan 360 cannot be overstated as a prime feature.

Titanium Alaskan 360 Ti

The Alaskan 360 Ti swaps every major component found in the standard Alaskan 360 for Grade 5 titanium, dropping the system weight dramatically while maintaining the high tensile strength needed for tough hunting rifles. The bead-blasted finish saves even more weight by avoiding additional mass from Cerakote while preserving a muted reflection profile.

Size, Weight, and Handling

The Surety of Steel

With the R.U.M. attached, the standard 360 measures at 7.5 in and tips the scales at 11.8 oz. That is remarkably lightweight for a multi-cal suppressor capable of handling the notoriously high-pressure .338 Lapua, allowing it to balance well on carbines and pistol caliber carbines (PCCs).

Featherlight Titanium

At just 5.6 oz bare and 6.6 oz with the included titanium direct thread, the Rugged Alaskan 360 Ti is one of the lightest .36 caliber cans available. Hunters and mountain rifle shooters can expect a considerable reduction in muzzle swing and easier carry on long hikes, especially on long barrels.

Mounting & Ecosystem Fit

The Alaskan 360 ships with the R.U.M. rear and uses the common 1.375×24 thread pattern, providing immediate compatibility with Rugged’s Dual Taper QD mounts and a broad range of third-party HUB accessories such as direct threads, 3-lug adapters, or Plan A/Plan B mounts.

The Alaskan 360 Ti includes a titanium 5/8×24 direct thread and also uses the same 1.375×24 universal pattern as the stainless 360, allowing users to attach a separately-purchased R.U.M. or other HUB accessories if you want quick-detach capability.

Caliber Coverage and Barrel Guidance

While both versions of the Alaskan 360 perform best on .36 caliber platforms, they are also rated for pistol calibers up to 9mm and rifle cartridges up to .338 Lapua, making them two of the wide-ranging multi-caliber suppressors available. With a full-auto rating and no barrel restrictions for both the 360 and the 360 Ti, the Rugged series offers some of the best coverage of rifle calibers that a multi-caliber silencer can provide.

Sound, Tone, and Gas

Both silencers provide comparable noise-reduction, resulting in a noticeably softer sound-signature while attached. Shooter-perceived tone depends on host firearm, barrel length, and ammunition. Both suppressors use Rugged’s Dual Taper Locking system for a tight gas seal and repeatable point of impact, which helps maintain consistency shot to shot.
