Silencer Shop is committed to protecting your Personal Information. This Privacy Notice describes our collection, use, disclosure, and retention of biometric data. Biometric data refers to unique physical or biological characteristics used to identify you, such as your fingerprints.
How we collect and use your biometric data
Silencer Shop offers convenient and easy-to-use kiosks that allow you to digitally scan your fingerprints for use with certain ATF forms required to make or transfer NFA-regulated firearms. With your consent, Silencer Shop collects your fingerprint scan from you at the kiosk for the purpose of completing these forms as directed by you and securely storing your information to complete forms for future transactions.
How we retain, disclose and protect your biometric data
We maintain your fingerprint scan until the purpose for which it was collected expires. You may direct us to delete your fingerprint scan at any time by contacting us at legal@silencershop.com. We will not be able to complete your ATF form if you delete your fingerprint scan before the form is processed.
We store your data in a safe, encrypted file associated with your Silencer Shop account.
We may disclose your biometric data
- To our service providers to provide the services you requested.
- With your consent to certain third parties, such as your selected dealer and the ATF.
- When required by law.
Your Privacy Rights
Silencer Shop will only collect your biometric data with your consent. You may decline to provide consent, but we will not be able to complete your ATF Forms without your fingerprint scan. Unless an exception applies, you may revoke your consent by contacting us at:
