I bought this can specifically for my PS-90 SBR. I have a stainless Sparrow, and a Varminter 2.0. While the Sparrow is very small and light, and rated for 5.7, I felt the volume was a bit small for that caliber. The titanium Varminter has plenty of volume, but weighs 19oz, affecting the balance of the PS-90.
When I saw the Micro with it's SS construction and user serviceable configuration, compact profile, I felt it would be perfect for my SBR, at 8.5oz.

I bought this can but I figured I would write up a little bit about WHY this one instead of the other choices out there. These are numbers I found online but are still subject to further testing.

On a 16” AR with a direct thread it metered 142 at the muzzle (with no adapter). With the taper mount adapter it metered 136DB. That 136DB at the muzzle is highly respectable as it is right in line with or better than many other dedicated 5.56 cans. Informally I counted five cans that I could find data on that were matched or beat for 5.56 performance.

On an AR though port pop is a real thing. Trapped gas escapes through your chamber making at the ear numbers pretty loud. The sonic crack of the bullet itself is over 140DB. This suppressor's at the ear numbers on a 16” AR with the adapter will rival most other dedicated 5.56 cans.

This can noise wise is a tad bit quieter than shooting 5.56 through a .30 cal suppressor. The at the ear performance is about the same as any other rifle suppressor (5.56 or .30 cal) which should be between 142-144 DB (on a 16" AR).

On a bolt action 5.56 gun with the adapter this can is easily hearing safe at the shooters ear. Griffin metered it right around 130DB. Just as a reference that’s about as loud at the ear as a 9mm pistol can in the K configuration shooting subs. Once I get the can I might turn the gas off on my AR and see if it’s really hearing safe at the ear in that set up.

On .22LR the numbers are right around 115-116DB on either a rifle or pistol. That is right in line or better than most .22LR cans. Also the construction of the can is built like a tank. Thin little aluminum cans that get tapped on something and dented? Not this one. It’s way more beefy and even the tube is all stainless steel.

This can is heavier than the competition. No doubt. But on a 10/22 as long as your total barrel weight for a 16” gun is 1.7lbs (ish) or under (IE the manufacturer’s weight of your barrel) you won’t even notice it out there. Having a nice balanced rifle is important to me so I checked this before I bought the suppressor.

On a pistol that’s a different subject. It might be slightly nose heavy on some host weapons but that is subjective and yet to be tested. By comparison my Revolution 9 weighs 11.2oz in the full configuration and 9.7oz in the K configuration. You can definitely feel it out there, but the K configuration on that one has better handling. With this one at 8.5oz it’s even lighter than the K configuration 9mm can so it shouldn't be too bad. Some competitor’s .22LR cans are half the weight of this one but all things considered and for everything it can do I was willing to take the trade.

Lastly the baffles are SS so you can just toss em in a rotary wet tumbler with steel pins and it won’t hurt anything. None of the other complicated methods to try and keep a .22LR can clean are needed.
After I get the suppressor in hand I will update this.
