Are rifle suppressors or rifle silencers interchangeable among different firearms?

Suppressors are made for certain calibers, and generally have a lot of flexibilty to be used on different firearms. Just pay attention to a suppressors caliber rating and barrel length rating when choosing a suppressor for multiple rifles.
