Knight’s Armament Company was founded in 1982 as a Research & Development facility. They have since evolved into a premier manufacturer, offering complete weapon systems, modular accessories, and Knight Vision electro-optics (to just name a few). Knight’s is probably best known for their advanced developments in weapon designs and accessories, with Research & Development, manufacturing, assembly, and testing aspects all completed at their facility in Titusville, FL.
One of their more renowned industry contributions, the Knight’s Armament MK23 suppressor was released in 1995. Originally designed for military use as the Navy SEAL’s first contract pistol silencer, the MK23 is a direct match for the Heckler & Koch Mark 23 Offensive Handgun. With the vast array of firearm products available from Knight’s, when a unit jumps off the page as much as the MK23 can, it’s definitely worth taking note.
Moreover, in July 2003, the 5.56 and 7.62 models, as well as shortened 5.56 CQB and 7.62 CQB options, the accuracy and versatility offered by this family of suppressors is second-to-none in their respective categories. But, that’s par for the course when discussing this manufacturer. We’re undoubtedly excited for what Knight’s Armament has rolling down the pipe next for us… Just as you should be, too.
