HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti
The HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti is a dedicated 5.56 suppressor built entirely from Grade 5 titanium using DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) 3D printing. It weighs 11.4 ounces, measures 6.8 inches in length, and is 1.8 inches in diameter. It uses HUXWRX's patented Flow-Through and Torque Lock technologies, is full-auto rated with no barrel length restrictions, and requires no modifications to your gas system or platform beyond the included QD muzzle device.

What Makes the HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti Different
Most 5.56 suppressors redirect propellant gas back into the host firearm's action. On short-barreled AR-15s and M4-pattern carbines, this back-pressure can increase bolt carrier velocity by 20 to 40 percent over baseline, causing violent cycling, accelerated parts wear, and gas blowback to the shooter's face. The typical fix is an adjustable gas block, a heavier buffer, or a suppressor-tuned bolt carrier group. None of those should be necessary.
The Flow-Through system changes the equation entirely. Instead of trapping and redirecting gas rearward, the Flow 556 Ti's internal geometry directs propellant gases forward and out the front of the suppressor. HUXWRX's own testing shows bolt velocity impact of less than 5 percent over the unsuppressed baseline. In practice, the rifle cycles nearly identically to running without a suppressor. No gas tuning. No buffer changes. No additional parts.
The suppressor body is manufactured using DMLS, a laser-sintering process that fuses Grade 5 titanium powder at the molecular level to produce a single-piece structure. The result is internal flow channel geometries that are impossible to machine or weld conventionally, delivering a combination of light weight and structural integrity that traditional manufacturing cannot replicate. The integrated GeoFlash Cap geometry is built into the front cap design to reduce muzzle flash signature as part of the overall system, making the Flow 556 Ti a strong choice for low-light environments and night vision use cases.
Mounting is handled by the patented Torque Lock system. Torque Lock uses left-hand threads that tighten under the rotational forces of firing rather than loosening. The suppressor installs counter-clockwise onto the QD muzzle device until hand-tight and stays there under full-auto fire without additional tools or locking mechanisms.

What's in the Box
The HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti ships as a complete kit ready to install on a 1/2x28 threaded barrel:
- HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti suppressor
- Flash Hider QD 556 1/2x28 muzzle device

Flow-Through Technology and Your AR-15 Gas System
The Flow 556 Ti requires no adjustable gas block, buffer swap, or bolt carrier group change to run reliably. This is a practical distinction from traditional baffle suppressors, which frequently cause reliability issues on short-barreled platforms when used without gas system tuning.

Who the HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti Is Best For
The Flow 556 Ti is the right choice for AR-15 and M4 platform owners who want maximum sound suppression without the back-pressure trade-off associated with traditional suppressors.
It is particularly well-suited for SBR and pistol-caliber AR owners where back-pressure is most severe and gas system issues are most common, carbine-length gas system rifles that run at the edge of their operating pressure without a suppressor, night vision and low-light shooters who need flash elimination alongside sound suppression, and competitive or high-volume shooters who want the lightest full-size 5.56 suppressor available without sacrificing durability.

Frequently Asked Questions: HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti
What is Flow-Through technology and how does it work?
Flow-Through technology directs propellant gases forward through and out the front of the suppressor instead of redirecting them rearward into the host firearm's action. This eliminates back-pressure, keeps bolt carrier velocity within 5 percent of unsuppressed baseline, and removes the need for gas system modifications on most AR-15 and M4-pattern platforms.
Does the HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti require any gas system modifications?
No. The Flow 556 Ti requires no changes to your gas system, buffer, or bolt carrier group. The only modification required is installing the included HUXWRX QD muzzle device on your barrel.
What is the HUXWRX Torque Lock mounting system?
Torque Lock is a patented QD mounting system that uses left-hand threads to tighten under the rotational forces of firing. The suppressor installs counter-clockwise onto the muzzle device and stays securely seated without additional locking mechanisms, even under full-auto fire.
Is the HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti hearing safe?
HUXWRX guarantees the Flow 556 Ti will maintain a low sound signature at the shooter’s ear throughout the suppressor’s service life when used with standard M855 ammunition on test rifles.
What calibers can the HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti run?
The Flow 556 Ti is rated for .22 LR through 5.56 NATO with no barrel length restrictions, making it cross-platform compatible across a range of rimfire and centerfire 5.56 hosts.
How often does the HUXWRX Flow 556 Ti need to be cleaned?
HUXWRX recommends cleaning every 2,500 to 3,000 rounds using CLP-type cleaners. Ultrasonic cleaners are safe to use on the Flow 556 Ti. Pre-soaking in CLP before cleaning reduces carbon and copper buildup.
