CAT’s BBK HUB Ti is a 3D-printed Grade 5 titanium .338 can built for modern big-bore setups. The SNIPER3 core is tuned for the pressure profile of 338 ARC and 8.6 BLK subsonic loads while still supporting longer-barrel magnums. The rear is HUB 1.375x24, so you can choose direct thread or add your preferred QD system. Specs are 9.5 inches long, 1.8 inches in diameter, and 15.5 ounces with a DLC finish. Manufacturer guidance calls out an 8 inch minimum barrel for 338 ARC and 8.6 BLK, a 20 inch minimum for magnums, and an optimized velocity window of 1,000 to 2,100 fps. For best results, follow the manual’s heat management guidance and torque a direct thread mount to 25-30 ft-lb. The BBK ships without a mount so you can select the correct thread for your host.
