Archon Firearms Type B - Threaded

The Archon Type B (Threaded) is a striker‑fired, modular full‑size polymer‑frame pistol chambered in 9×19 (9mm). Engineered for modularity, the threaded barrel version is available with factory optic cuts for Aimpoint® ACRO, Trijicon® RMR, or RMSc footprints. The design emphasizes controllability, fast follow‑up shots, and compatibility with optics and suppressors.

The pistol uses Archon’s AF‑Speedlock® short‑travel locking system that limits barrel movement during cycling, and a relatively low bore axis (≈ 0.47 in / 12 mm) intended to aid recoil management. The Type B features a short‑reset tactile trigger, enlarged magazine well, redesigned magazine release, beavertail for improved hand placement, and front and rear slide serrations for positive manipulation. The Type B ships with multiple backsraps and grip segments allowing the end-user to configure the Type B in either a compact or full size configuration.
