B&T's RBS-MAX compact suppressor is a 3D printed version of their 52mm RBS suppressor line optimized for use on very mission specific platforms with limited firing schedules and is constructed of 100% Titanium. All RBS (Reduced Backpressure System) suppressors feature a low-pressure chamber design to absorb a substantial amount of gas, thereby reducing back pressure. This design significantly minimizes, and in some cases, eliminates excess gas pressure at the charging handle and ejection port locations — thereby significantly minimizing potential respiratory problems caused by the inhalation of exhaust gases — making the RBSa top choice for semiautomatic precision gas guns.

The result is that the RBS Suppressor significantly reduces the combustion gases ejected from the ejection window. The low-pressure expansion chamber only minimally increases the size and weight of the silencer compared to conventional baffled silencers, all while providing industry-leading sound and flash signature reduction, comparable to the proven B&T ROTEX line of suppressors.

The RBS is manufactured using laser bed fusion techniques and constructed wholly of Titanium and is fully weldless, substantially reducing weight and potential failure points. Each suppressor ships with B&T’s Rotex-SF HUB assembly, which is compatible with all B&T Rotex flash hiders, as well as all of SureFire SOCOM flash hiders, Warcomps and muzzle brakes. The Rotex-SF HUB is machined from Titanium. NATO-Spec A2 and Direct-Mount HUB assemblies are available as accessories items.
