The Obsidian Arms AR-15 Castle Nut Staking Tool is designed to assist with staking castle nuts during AR-15 buffer tube installation and maintenance. Manufactured in the USA from heat-treated S7 tool steel, this tool is built for repeated use in armorer and gunsmith applications. The design displaces material at approximately a 45-degree angle from center to help secure the castle nut in place after proper torqueing.
