Novox AR9 X-SD Ported and Threaded Barrel

The Novox AR9 X-SD Ported and Threaded Barrel is a 4.3" 9mm barrel assembly designed for AR9 platforms and configured as part of the X-SD integrated muzzle system. Manufactured, heat treated, and nitride coated in-house, the barrel features a 1:10 twist rate and is threaded to interface with the included taper adapter. The X-SD system is composed of four primary components—ported barrel, taper adapter, tube, and module—working together as a unified muzzle device configuration.

The taper adapter incorporates an internal taper lock designed to interface with the barrel threads and help seal the system. The main tube component serves as the outer body of the X-SD assembly and is compatible with interchangeable modules on either end. Updated design revisions allow the same taper adapter and shroud assembly to be used across compatible AR9 and Scorpion/Nexus configurations. Overall assembled length from the receiver face measures approximately 5.2" with the HUB module or 4.92" with the Alpha module.
