MODTAC U-RAC XL Suppressor Shield | AR-15

The MODTAC U-RAC XL Suppressor Shield is a rail-mounted suppressor cover designed to help reduce heat exposure and improve handling on AR-15 platforms. Engineered for suppressors up to 1.900 inches (48 mm) in diameter, it features a free-floating, air-gapped design that helps limit heat transfer to the user and surrounding equipment while allowing normal suppressor cooling. The lightweight construction combines carbon fiber and aluminum for durability without adding significant weight to the firearm.

This suppressor shield mounts directly to a Picatinny rail using a quick-detach system for straightforward installation and removal. It is compatible with AR-15 forends and supports select accessories such as the Unity Tactical FUSION™ folding front sight, allowing users to optimize rail space. The included rail extension provides an additional forward mounting option for lights or lasers, helping free up handguard space for other accessories or improved grip.
