LMT MRP-L MLOK | 11.5 Shovelnose Upper Receiver

The LMT MRP-L MLOK 11.5 Shovelnose Upper Receiver is designed for AR-15 platforms utilizing LMT piston barrel systems and compatible calibers such as 5.56×45 NATO and .300 Blackout when paired with the appropriate barrel assembly. Built on LMT’s Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP™), the receiver and handguard are machined from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum, providing a rigid and unified structure for mounting optics and accessories. The proprietary quick-change barrel system uses two locking bolts, allowing installation or removal with a standard T-30 Torx tool.

This “Shovelnose” configuration features an enlarged internal diameter to accommodate LMT piston barrels and allow barrel changes without removing M-LOK® accessories. The extended M-LOK handguard offers additional space for mounting lights, lasers, and other accessories, while maintaining compatibility with LMT monolithic barrel assemblies. The upper receiver is sold without a barrel, allowing users to configure their setup based on specific platform and application requirements.
