LMT MARS-L 5.56 MRP - 16"

The LMT MARS-L 5.56 MRP 16" is a semi-automatic rifle built around LMT’s patented Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP™) upper receiver. Machined from a single aerospace-grade aluminum forging, the MRP design uses two side-access locking bolts to secure the barrel extension with full 360-degree engagement, allowing for barrel changes when properly configured. This model features a 16-inch chrome-lined 5.56×45mm (.223) barrel with a 1:7" right-hand twist and direct impingement operating system. The upper receiver provides 18.5 inches of uninterrupted 1913 Picatinny rail at the 12 o’clock position, with M-LOK® attachment points on the remaining sides.

The rifle incorporates the MARS-L Lower Receiver with fully ambidextrous controls, including bolt catch, magazine catch, and safety selector. Additional components include an ambidextrous charging handle, semi-automatic bolt carrier group, two-stage trigger, LMT ergonomic textured grip, and SOPMOD stock. The barrel assembly utilizes a low-profile gas block, straight gas tube, proprietary coating, and cryogenic treatment. The rifle ships with three grip panels, one magazine, and owner’s manual.
