LMT MARS-L 12.5" Specwar 5.56 SBR

The LMT MARS-L 12.5" Specwar is a 5.56 NATO short-barreled rifle (SBR) built around Lewis Machine & Tool’s Monolithic Rail Platform (MRP) upper receiver. The upper receiver and handguard are machined from a single aluminum forging, creating a continuous top rail and integrated M-LOK mounting surfaces for accessories. The rifle features a 12.5-inch barrel with a midlength gas system paired with an 11.5-inch handguard, providing rail space for optics, lights, and other accessories while maintaining a compact overall configuration.

The rifle is equipped with the LMT MARS-L ambidextrous lower receiver, which incorporates ambidextrous controls for the magazine release, bolt catch, and bolt release. The platform also includes a chrome-lined 1:7 twist barrel, a full-auto profile M16 bolt carrier group, and an AXLE two-stage trigger. Additional features include an LMT SOPMOD stock, G2 pistol grip, and A2 flash hider, along with a continuous Picatinny top rail and multiple M-LOK attachment points for accessories.
