LMT M203 Shorty 40 Receiver

The LMT M203 Shorty 40 Receiver is a rail-mounted 40mm launcher receiver designed for installation on firearms equipped with a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. This receiver is manufactured from a 7075-T6 aluminum forging and is designed to accept compatible LMT M203 components. The receiver incorporates three recoil lugs and three locking lugs that interface with the mounting rail to secure the unit during operation. This configuration is designed for use with the LMT 7" M203 barrel system (model LMP350) and is sold as a receiver only, without barrel or sights included. This is a Type 1 receiver and may be transferred as a standard firearm. It is not classified as a Destructive Device until a 40mm barrel is installed, at which point ATF approval is required prior to assembly. The Silencer Shop Form 1 filing service does not facilitate Destructive Device registrations.
