LMT L129A1 Reference Rifle

The LMT L129A1 Reference Rifle is a semi-automatic 7.62×51 NATO (.308) platform inspired by the rifle system selected by the UK Ministry of Defence. Built on LMT®’s patented Monolithic Weapon System (MWS®), this rifle features a one-piece upper receiver machined from aerospace-grade aluminum forging for enhanced rigidity and consistent alignment. The quick-change barrel design utilizes dual locking bolts that secure the barrel extension with full 360-degree engagement, allowing for efficient barrel changes while maintaining repeatable zero with the same barrel.

The 16-inch stainless steel barrel is cryogenically treated and paired with a low-profile gas block and straight gas tube for dependable performance. A continuous 19.25-inch top Picatinny rail and quad rail configuration provide ample space for optics and accessories. The lower receiver includes a two-stage trigger, ambidextrous controls, SOPMOD stock, and QD sling attachment points, offering versatility for a wide range of shooting applications.
