The JP Low Mass Small Frame BCG (LMOS™) is a lightweight bolt carrier group designed for AR-15 platform rifles. By reducing reciprocating mass, low mass carriers are commonly used in competition and tuned rifle setups to help minimize felt recoil and support faster sight recovery between shots when paired with appropriate components such as adjustable gas systems and compensators. This small-frame BCG is available in either a QPQ black finish or polished stainless steel and is not compatible with .308/AR-10-type rifles.
This assembly includes the JP EnhancedBolt™, manufactured from SAE 9310 steel and designed for compatibility with Mil-Spec AR-15 bolt carrier components. The bolt features a DLC coating for surface hardness and lubricity, along with geometry enhancements intended to support consistent function and service life. The complete package includes the carrier, bolt assembly, cam pin, firing pin, firing pin retainer pin, and instruction sheet.
