How PBSS Works

Certification

• We prep the application, organize the data, and push it into your ATF eForms account.
• We handle the paperwork so nothing gets missed.
• You and the customer certify together, in-store or remotely, and you’re done.

Kiosk

• You don’t need a kiosk to be PBSS, but having one turns your shop into a true one-stop NFA shop.
• Customers can complete fingerprints in-store, which means faster submissions.
• Silencer buyers actively search for kiosk locations, driving more foot traffic to your store.

Fees

• Per-form fees depend on your Dealer Rewards tier and whether you sell Silencer Shop inventory.
• As your volume grows, fees can drop all the way down to $0 (ELITE).
• This applies to both Silencer Shop and non–Silencer Shop inventory.
• More volume means better rewards and stronger margins.

Website Listing

• PBSS dealers are listed on SilencerShop.com.
• Your shop is shown to the largest audience of active silencer buyers in your area.
• When customers choose your store at checkout, you get paid for those orders.

Training

• PBSS includes training from our Dealer Support team.
• Your staff gets hands-on guidance to run the process confidently from day one.
• Learn how to move faster, avoid mistakes, and maximize revenue.
• Bottom line: PBSS gives you the simplest, most proven way to help customers buy silencers while keeping forms moving and business growing.

Fingerprints (Form 1s + Form 4s)

Fingerprints are required for all Form 1 and Form 4 submissions. Customers have two easy ways to do them:

1) Silencer Shop Kiosk (Electronic)

The kiosk captures fingerprints electronically and uploads them to the customer profile quickly.

Customers can use any kiosk nationwide.

If the kiosk is used at a dealer who is not the transferring dealer, that dealer may charge up to $40.

2) Physical Fingerprint Cards (FD-258)

Customers can mail Silencer Shop physical FD-258 cards.

Fingerprints only need to be submitted once; after we have a customer's fingerprints on file, they are valid forever and can be used for future purchases.
