Its two-stage design provides a defined first stage followed by a lighter second stage break, supporting consistent trigger operation across a variety of shooting applications.

Based on the SSA-E platform, the SD-E incorporates a flat trigger bow for consistent finger placement and a straight pull to the rear. This configuration is commonly selected for users seeking a balance between control and precision in a non-adjustable, mil-spec compatible trigger system. It is intended for use in standard AR-pattern rifles and is not compatible with Sig MPX, MCX, or pistol caliber carbine variants.
