Silencer Shop is proud to announce its sponsorship with the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF). In honor of becoming an SAF Gold sponsor, we want to highlight who the Second Amendment Foundation is and what they have continued to do for our constitutional rights to keep and bear arms.

The Second Amendment Foundation is a non-profit organization that protects and defends our constitutional rights. SAF was founded in 1974 and has done everything from sponsor lawsuits to publish educational materials in support of the second amendment. Along with their lobbying affiliate, The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA), the SAF has over 650,000 members and counting.

With no fear litigating in the courtroom, the Second Amendment Foundation has sought legal action to advocate for your gun rights. The SAF has an exhaustive list of legal battles and amicus briefs that are in defense of the right to keep and bear arms.

Noteworthy cases include successfully advocating: against the carry ban in Illinois, for self-defense outside of the home, and against the emergency powers act. This non-profit organization has been active in firearms-related suits for nearly 50 years. In that time, the SAF has defended, overturned, and protected many cases, handling as many as dozens of court cases at a time.

In addition to litigation, the SAF also has grassroots efforts to educate the community using scholars conferences, seminars, meetings, publications, and public education programs. By teaming up with like-minded pro-gun organizations, the Second Amendment Foundation has used every medium to educate, inform, and advocate.

Given the current political climate, we here at Silencer Shop believe it’s imperative to not only practice our second amendment rights, but to also defend them.
