Allen Engineering M4-Recce | OPS Grey

The Allen Engineering M4-Recce is a reflex-style rifle suppressor based on a design originally developed for DEVGRU Recce rifle configurations. Predating the OPS Inc 12th Model/AEM5, the M4-Recce design was used from the mid-1990s into the 2010s. The OPS Grey finish complements its period-oriented configuration, making the suppressor applicable to compatible Recce-style and historically inspired rifle builds.

The M4-Recce uses the dedicated M4 Recce mounting system, which is distinct from the Allen Engineering M4-Delta and other models sometimes associated with the OPS Inc "M4" designation. Its reflex configuration extends a portion of the suppressor rearward over the barrel, resulting in a 9.25-inch overall length while adding approximately 5.25 inches beyond the muzzle. It measures 1.5 inches in diameter and has a listed weight of 23 ounces.
