Owned this for about 2 months/600-700 rounds. Very pleased. Noticeable difference over my Surefire fa556-212. A hair longer, a hair heavier, but definitely quieter. Surefire mount is awesome but suppressor gets stuck on after 100 rounds or so. Specwar never freezes up. Comes right off. Nice, small bore size. No POI shift that I can tell. Best friend runs m4 2000. If his didn’t ring like a doorbell every shot, they would be about the same. Specwar mount is superior to m4-2000. Its about the best value in fast attach 5.56 suppressors. As quiet as they come plus full Stellite core = ultimate durability.

Mine is still in jail, but I was able to put ~250-300 rounds through it with my SOT. VERY quiet (for a .223). Sounded like a 22 LR rifle. Other people at the range didn’t believe I was shooting .223! The Trifecta flash hider has no tuning fork effect at all. Four stars due to one minor issue. The exit hole on the end cap is a bit (1/32″) off center. SWR said this was cosmetic only as the bore of the silencer is wire cut to be perfectly concentric with the smallest possible hole in the end cap. They explained they could have cleaned it up to be centered perfectly, but it would sacrifice suppression as they would have to make it larger. Since I got the can to use and not for looks, I’m fine with that.

Picked up my SpecWar 556 after one year waiting – it has been worth it. Was looking for solid value in the midrange price point and this can delivers in spades. ASR lockup is tight and easy to remove. The subdued engraving on the outer surface and the smooth finish give it very clean lines. The SpecWar flash hider does add some bulk to the muzzle – I wasn’t expecting it to be so big. The muzzle report from the SpecWar hider standalone does sound a bit louder than the Phantom 5C2 hider I had on it originally, but will probably be shooting suppressed all the time going forward. POI shift at 100 yards was approximately 1-1.5 inches low with suppressor attached but repeatable after removing and attaching the can. Very satisfied and highly recommended.

I ran it on my 11.5″ SBR and it was great. The Stellite core should hold up for a LOOONG time. The mount is very easy and as secure as it gets. The suppression was very impressive for an SBR. You get a lot of suppressor for $550, & it’s worth every penny.

I have waited one year for the specwar 556, and since It got released from jail I have had it 9 months and 500-1k rounds threw it, the thing is damn quiet, built to last but the asr locking system sucks, I would rather have the aac locking system, once the asr is locked well its on will never come loose but when I thread my suppressor on the brake, I find my self backing the suppressor on and off and trying to lock the suppressors ars lock some times the little teeth line up some times they don’t and you have to keep playing with it until they do, it can some times take a few min other then that, I would prefer the “lock” “unlock” to be engraved into the lock its self and not the suppressor body. but out side of those two things this is the best can to get, better then the expensive surefire and the aac hype

This is an awesome can. One thing that’s apparent is how well-machined everything is. The can attaches easily to the muzzle device and does not loosen or wobble during shooting. The mount is so solid you can pick up your rifle by the suppressor. If you’re looking for a 5.56 suppressor, you can’t go wrong here. And you can’t go wrong buying from Silencer Shop.

556/223 gold! This suppressor is solid as a rock. A little heavy, but worth the weight. I’ve run it on a Tavor, AR and 11.5 SBR without any problems. Liked the first one so much I bought another. They’re even IDIOT proof. I had a baffle and front cap strike…MY BAD. After picking my precious CLASS III item off the ground 25 feet from my rifle I went into a state of shock and depression. 10 days later, my sorrow and woe had been replaced with an entirely new, sans the external piece of the silencer with the serial number on it, set of innards and end cap. Silencerco offers a lifetime warranty, apparently no matter how stupid the owner is..ME. They make fantastic products and stand behind them. Something you want with a Class III type of investment. Plenty of Youtube videos on the db performance. Great can and great company.

This suppressor is top of the line in performance. You give up a little in weight and length… but it is very little. I run this can on a 5.56 12″ SBR and I can comfortably shoot it outdoors with no hearing protection. After doing moths of research and comparing suppressors, I went with the best performer regardless of price. The SPECWAR 5.56 is simply the best at this time.

My first suppressor purchase and definitely not my last thanks to how easy these guys made it. This suppressor is beautiful on my 10.5″ ACR and the recoil is virtually non-existent. Sound is what I expected from all the videos I saw online and I’m impressed. I’ll be ordering another for my wife’s AR15.

One of 4 suppressors, ALL silencerco products. Absolutely love this can. Sort of heavy, but STUPID DURABLE. I run it on every 556 between my 7.5″ all the way up to my 16″ with great results.
