One of the best features of the SilencerCo Salvo 12 is the ability to change its length based on the shooter's current needs.

In order to change the length, the shooter can add or remove sections to balance their sound suppression, weight, and length needs - and a rod kit is required to support that modularity. The Salvo comes with the 12" rod kit to support the default 12" configuration; but, additional rod kits are required if you want to try the additional lengths.

We've been testing the different lengths and have found the 12" length to be best for overall suppression; but, 8" is a great length for providing a comfortable shooting experience in a more compact & light-weight package.
